Background story:
-Celestia found Nova as a baby after she was born from a star. Causing a super nova explosion and the creation of new stars, after seeing this Celestia named her new infant friend Nova.
-Not long after Celestia’s discovery, Thoe had discovered them and helped Celestia raise Nova.
-As they made their way through the galaxy, Thoe trained Nova in the element of fire, which appeared to be her strongest element at the time.
-On Nova’s 16th birthday, Thoe saw how powerful and beautiful she had already become and decided he couldn't wait to ask for her hand. He proposed to her. To his dismay she declined and he became possessive, and was convinced that she could learn to love him.
- Eventually the triad made their way to a beautiful guardian world called Arina, ruled by a young prodigal warmaster named Veron. Upon their arrival, Nova was greeted with a beautiful parade and a very warm welcome from her people. Nova immediately felt attracted to Veron.
- After a large fight with Thoe after she rejected him again, Veron took Nova out on a tour of Arina. Her feelings towards him grew and so did their friendship. Nova was happy to be free from Thoe's controlling behaviours.
- It didn't take long for Thoe to realize that Nova was falling for Veron and forced her away from him with harsh and abusive training. Not allowing her to see anyone, he barely let her eat or sleep..hoping to weaken her enough to make her submissive. But Nova was resilient and had help from Veron was able to rest, and eat while Thoe had no idea she was doing so.
- Veron and Nova began a secret relationship all while planning to frame Thoe for the tyrant that he was. Nova pretended to fall for Thoe and with this allowed Veron and his men to capture Thoe long enough for Nova and Celestia to escape Arina.
- Nova pleaded for Veron to come with them, but he stayed behind to make sure they got away safe... as Arina could only hold Thoe for so long.
- Not long after Nova and Celestia escaped, Thoe ambushed them and took them captive. Thoe explained to her that he had murdered Veron and was now framing them for the destruction of Arina.
- Nova was locked away in a tower along with Celestia, under the watchful eye of Thoe's men. But her spirit was not so easily broken and this infuriated Thoe. He had her drugged over the course of months, hoping to weaken her and eventually make her submissive to him.
- One night, Thoe came into her chambers and freed her from her chains and was happy to see that she had lost her ability to summon her powers and the majority of her physical strength. He took advantage of this and tried to take Nova for himself, lucky for Nova an old friend helped Celestia escape and she froze Thoe solid and both fled.
- Nova went back to Arina right away for peace of mind. Walking around in nothing but ash and dust, she stumbled upon Veron's memory stone. She held it crying softly amongst the ashes of his remains only see his memory stone vanish before her eyes.
- Decades passed and Celestia and Nova traveled the stars hiding from Thoe and his dark army. They had no idea where he had gained his new power but did their best to stay away. Eventually they settled down on a planet called Cerinia. Nova and Celestia alike became well loved and admired and the young Queen decided to build up a resistance with guardians that managed to escape Thoe's wrath.
- Nova conquered the worlds around Cerinia, taking their armies and freeing their slaves, thus growing her rebellion and fueling her hatred towards her old mentor.
- Unfortunately, there was a spy in her ranks whom gave away her location to Thoe... she herself had him killed but it was too late. Thoe was on her door step with his dark army. She had Cerinia evacuated immediately while protecting those she could.
- Thoe and her battled but it was one sided, The dark energy Thoe possessed was far too dangerous for Nova to fight. She was forced to flee to a nearby star system.
- Thoe had General Scales infect Celestia with dark energy and used her as a pawn to find Nova. Soon the two of them ambush Nova on Fichina. Thoe stabs Nova with a dark dagger in attempts to infect her pure light energy and forces Celestia freeze her into a glacier.
-Many years later, Beltino’s research team discovers Nova.
